David Blyth In his suite of screenprints 'Book of Spring Lambs' North-east artist David Blyth returns to the subject of lambing and domesticity in a playful exploration of colour, pattern, image and surface. Blyth studied painting and sculpture at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen graduating with an MA degree in Fine Art in 1999. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally and has participated in numerous residency programmes, public arts projects and commissions. In 2003, he was selected to participate in Zenomap, Scotland’s first presentation of art at the Venice Biennale exhibition. He lives and work in the North-east of Scotland and teaches at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. |
